Individuals without a driver’s license convicted of a driving offense in Tennessee will be given an identification number that can be later used to enhance driving-related penalties, including classifying them as a suspended driver. Drivers ineligible for a license may still be eligible to remove this suspended classification by providing proof to the appropriate state agency to avoid harsher penalties and fines in the future.
